I was talking to celthunder last night about this very topic because we both feel that it can be improved but one of the main problems right now is the hardware it's on.

The issue at hand though is that if we change anything now the server will die because only those that regularly play will know to play on the new ip.

I guess the question is do we want to do that now or later. I think a bigger question is can we afford it and if we can't how can we

For a good dedicated server its gonan run 150 a month and we can reroute the ip if ppl join our old server to our new one but like i say $150 is alot

$150 is not correct ... We can get it for WAY less than that. Celt can help us huge with that ... Just need a box setup the machine and we're happening.

The only way you can forward the IP is if you keep game servers and setup the server to forward. But that's an additional cost /month.

To give you an idea. Celt says it's about $80 for a good server that can do both pub and priv.

i think the reg got much better than before because usin my one dangles like a pro
